Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Controller position will have 5+ years of experience managing the accounting functions for a company. Professional Services industry experience is highly desired. Experience with Great Plains Dynamics is a big plus. Must have an Accounting or Finance degree and show demonstrated career progression.

Description

Exciting opportunity with a dynamic and rapidly growing professional services firm located in the Loop! This is a newly created position due to strong growth over the past 2 years. The Assistant Controller will report to the Controller of the firm, and will be an integral member of the financial team. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting operations for the firm, and will oversee the month-end close process.
